Melinda

Melinda

  Melinda been working with people with disabilities and in community services for over 10 years. 


 Melinda has worked as a Support Worker, Social Worker, Trainer and Assessor, Team Leader, and most recently as the Director of Rubix Therapy and a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has supported people across a wide range of settings including government, non-government, and private practice, and has led the development of behaviour support services in multiple organisations. 


Melinda's formal qualifications are:

  • Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)
  • Masters of Social Work (Professional Qualifying).


 Melinda values respect, collaboration, and innovation in her practice. She has extensive experience developing and leading Positive Behaviour Support services and is recognised for her ability to design creative, person-centred strategies that improve quality of life while meeting complex compliance requirements. Known for her leadership, mentoring, and expertise, Melinda partners closely with clients, families, and providers to implement PBS plans that are practical, ethical, and effective.

Fiona

 Fiona has been working with people with disabilities and in community services for several years.


She has worked as a Disability Advocate, Intake Officer, Specialist Support Coordinator, Rehabilitation Consultant, and as a Social Worker supporting people to navigate complex systems and achieve their goals. 


Fiona brings strong experience in advocacy, collaboration, and problem-solving, alongside a practical understanding of NDIS processes


Fiona’s formal qualifications are:

  • Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) 
  • Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying)
     

Fiona values building genuine rapport and trust with clients and their supports. She brings both her professional expertise and lived experience of disability to her work, supporting participants to be heard, to problem-solve, and to find strategies that fit their lives.

Sinead

Sinead

From January 2026 Sinead will be based in Cairns and available to provide PBS services to Cairns and surrounding areas. 


Sinead has been working with people with disabilities and in community services for over 10 years.


In that time she has worked as a Mental Health and Disability Support Worker, Support Coordinator, and most recently as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has supported people across a wide range of settings including in-home, community, residential, and forensic contexts.

 

Sinead values empathy, cultural respect, and supporting people to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Known for her compassion and collaborative style, Sinead partners closely with participants, their families, and providers to create strategies that promote choice, control, and quality of life. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, she is recognised for her ability to deliver clear, creative, and effective strategies that are both evidence-based and tailored to each person’s needs

Work with us

We offer genuine work from home roles with flexible hours (permanent part time or full time), internal social work and behaviour support supervision, and a collaborative workplace.


To be considered for a role you must have a relevant tertiary degree, driver's licence and own vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card, a suitable home workplace, and disabilty-related work experience.
